The Chennai Super Kings are one of the most consistent IPL franchises. The team have won the title three times and have reached the knockouts in 10 of the 11 tournaments they’ve played. That said, 2020 was a tough year for the Super Kings. Finishing seventh, they’ve had a poor run with a squad that many fans aren’t sold on. Formerly the Kings XI Punjab, the Punjab Kings are a team that have seen scattered IPL success. The team were runners-up in 2014, but have yet to reach the top spot. Kolkata Knight Riders
After a disappointing finish in IPL 2020, the Knight Riders are entering the 2021 season with some of their best performers. In the auction, KKR retained key players like Eoin Morgan, Pat Cummins and Shubham Gill. On top of that, the team have veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh on their side who has bowled the most dot balls in IPL history. The Royal Challengers Bangalore are yet to see an IPL win. The franchise have been runners-up three times but tend to fall short before the play-offs begin.
